The electrification of the Renault Trucks range is progressing rapidly. In this case, however, the D and D-Wide range is undergoing many changes, regardless of the powertrain.
It is the regional and urban distribution models that have been sent back to the design department. The shape of the cab remains familiar, but the trim is more than refreshed. Of course, the updated range features the current Renault logo. The updated design is in keeping with the updated T range.
The C-shaped headlights are a link to the passenger cars, although this design feature has been dropped on the latest models. The new grille is in the same colour as the cabin, giving a more closed and modern look.
New mirrors and cameras improve visibility in tight urban areas, where this type of truck is often found.
In addition, features such as Automatic Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPMS), Lane Departure Warning (LDWS), Lane Keeping Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition with Speed Notification significantly improve road safety.
The diesel and electric versions will be on European roads from the second quarter of 2024.
