Emblem car key

In this column we take a look at unusual Renault products.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Renault ignition locks were already supplied by the French company Neiman. The key used to start the car therefore bore this name, but the Renault logo was nowhere to be found. This gave different suppliers the opportunity to do something special with the car key.
Here is an example of a key specially designed for the Renault Dauphine. This is a so-called "virgin blade", i.e. a key that still needs to be cut for use in the car.
The American company Cole National Corporation of Cleveland (Ohio) is the manufacturer of this jewel. It is nice that the key also comes with a hook for people who want to attach it to their key ring.
If you search for Car Key Cole on the internet, you will find many examples of this type of key made with the logos of different brands. Those who wish to buy this key for their Dauphine could find it on eBay America.
