A photo of an employee of the development department who seems to be relaxing in making a clay model. But it's appearances. This picture was taken in 1963 in the old building D of the Centre Technique Renault in Rueil. The picture shows Pierre Mignon, the designer responsible for the modifications of the Renault 10 compared to the R8. It is a polyester model that has been sprayed in the colour of the easily mouldable plastiline clay, so it looks as if it is still being worked on. The drawings on the walls are also by Mignon. The arrangement was made for the photo, this wasn't his real workplace.
