Argentine heritage

Already in 1999 the Club Renault 12 Buenos Aires was founded. Later, clubs were added in other regions, which organized national meetings for the first time in 2011. All kinds of clubs from different parts of the country took part. Every year this meeting is held in October, each time in a different city. This year Villa Urquiza from 12 to 14 October organized by the Renault 12 Paraná Club. A total of 97 copies of the Renault 12 came together in various versions: TL, TS, GTL, Break, Gordini and Alpine.

After the reception, the cars were exhibited in the afternoon on the main square in the city. It was a bright, warm day which allowed participants and visitors to take plenty of time to reminisce. The evening was filled with a dinner where various prizes were handed out.
On the second day from Villa Urquiza the cars set course for Paraná, the capital of the Entre Rios province about 40 kilometers away. There the participating cars were parked along the banks of the Panará river. On Sunday evening and Monday morning everyone left for home after a great weekend full of emotions and love for the Renault 12.

All participants live up to the event. Mobilize family and friends, prepare the car and experience support and camaraderie during the ride and if they help each other along the way in case of any mechanical problems. Anyone with a Renault 12 can participate with a car in its original condition, restored or tuned, it doesn't matter. The ninth National Assembly of the Renault 12 clubs will take place next year in the province of Cordoba. Then it will be exactly 50 years ago that the first Renault 12 left the Santa Isabel factory in Argentina.
