Remanufacturing upholstery Renault 4L

Gilles Lebreton follows the initiative described here and tries to unite owners of the first type Renault 4L who are interested in the remanufacturing of the original orange fabric of this car. All beautiful!

Beautiful cars and beautiful people in an equally beautiful environment. On June 30th the Château de Chantilly was a hit.

On the last Sunday of June, Renault Classic was present in the gardens of Chantilly Castle for the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille event. This was not only about beautiful and special cars, but also about the visitors who had put themselves in their most beautiful outfits in front of the mirror at home. Cars of a very diverse variety and different ages were present and were partly driven on stage. Renault was present with the Trezor, but also the history of the brand was extensively discussed. In the garden visitors went back in time with the mighty Viva Grand Sport Coupé from 1939 and an almost new Renault 5 GT Turbo. Furthermore, there were a number of beautifully lettered old vans including a Renault AHS Motul Service de Courses, Estafette pick-up, Juvaquatre van from a butcher's shop and a beautiful van from before 1910 from the Grande Pharmacie Nouvelle in Pithiviers. In short, all a feast for the eyes.

Presidential Espace

During the annual parade on July 14, the French president Emmanuel Macron was driven in a Renault Espace Présidentiel. A car that underwent several changes.

Of course, the car in question is armoured. Several departments within Renault have been working on this car. The decoration is done by Renault Tech. On the outside there is a French flag with the RF-logo (République Française) at the bottom of the grille. The same mention, but larger, decorates the metal frame behind the rear side windows. The car is painted in the famous Bleu Crépuscule (number 472) that was available on many Renaults in the past.
In the back there are two separate seats, like the Espace Executive. Various details have been worked out in a beautifully padded blue leather. Extra attention has been paid to the chairs that are equipped with NASA foam with memory for more comfort. Also on the inside is the RF logo back in abundance.

New upholstery R3-R4

AT THE LOOM
In total there was interest in 22 sets of upholstery and rubbers. In the near future the duo, who had never met each other in real life until the start of the loom, will be waiting for pictures of the people who had the interior of their R3 or R4 covered with the new fabric. At 4L International many people received their set.
