Facelift Renault Koleos

Renault's largest SUV is the Koleos, which is built by Renault Samsung Motors. The model occupies a prominent place in international sales. Especially outside Europe. A facelift refreshes the type.

Renault's interventions on the Koleos are modest. The front was tackled with more chrome on the grille and a different layout on the underside of the front bumper with mainly different chrome-coloured elements. The designers have developed a number of new wheels. A new paint colour is Vintage red.

Two parts

In addition, extra attention has been paid to the interior. This is particularly true for the equipment of the Initiale Paris, the decoration of which has been brought into line with more recent Renault models. The two parts of the backrest of the rear seat can be adjusted in angle.

WLTP

The Koleos has also been looked at in a motoric way. It is a pity that there are no petrol engines planned for Europe. The 1.6 litres diesel that was taken out of production not so long ago is followed by the 1,749 cc from the same engine family. It is important that the average fuel consumption has decreased. This engine delivers 150 hp and a torque of 340 Nm. CO2 emissions are limited to 143 g/km according to the new WLTP measurement method. The second diesel is the 2 litres, which produces 190 hp and 380 Nm. At 150 g/km, CO2 emissions are barely higher. The engine has a gain of 15 hp compared to the existing version. Every Koleos has an X-Tronic automatic as standard, while the most powerful version is always offered with All Mode four-wheel drive.
