Paris, Reims and Lyon house the three main classic car shows of France. The latter may be the least known, but it is certainly not the least attractive.

Renault was very well represented on Epoqu’auto. Because of the 120th anniversary of the brand, some 20 cars from the Renault Classic works collection were shown on a display of four hundred square meters – these included the 1959 study model with V8 engine, which can be considered as the forerunner of the monospace.
Obviously there were also the necessary club stands, as well as sellers of parts, model cars, books and posters, plus organizers of foreign rallies and car dealers...
We also stumbled upon the stand of comic book publisher Calandre. Artist Olivier Marin had just finished his new Margot album, in which the VW Beetle plays in an important role. If everything goes to plan, a new album will come out next year with a 4L in the lead. Because of a new exhibition format, regular visitors may have felt somewhat disorientated - even though everyone received a floor plan upon arrival. But that sometimes raised more questions than it gave answers.
