An honour to be the ‘vice-mayor’ of Twitchcon Rotterdam 

As vice-mayor of the City of Rotterdam it is with great pleasure that I welcome you in Rottterdam to enjoy and celebrate TwitchCon 2025.

TwitchCon EU came to Rotterdam in 2024 for the first time. I went to visit myself and had a great time. I saw communities extend friendships and fandom. All this in a very relaxed atmosphere. This year will be extra special as we celebrate 10 years of Twitchcon.

While you are in Rotterdam I warmly invite you to take the opportunity to discover Rotterdam. Our vibrant city offers lots of culinary surprises, artistic spots, unique shops, green oases, and beautiful architecture. Rotterdam is a city full of creativity and ambitions. No wonder our city has a thriving creative economy. From arts to fashion and from digital agencies to game development studios. Rotterdam has a ‘make it happen’ mentality and is proud of its historic roots. Hotel New York and the oceanliner ssRotterdam are great reminders that the harbour is part of our DNA.

I am convinced that all visitors of TwitchCon will enjoy a great event at Rotterdam Ahoy. And outside of the show hours, the city of Rotterdam is open and welcome for everybody to relax and unwind.
