Outlook Calendar & Teams

Outlook Calendar
& Teams

Nova SBE works with Microsoft 365, that more than just apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, brings together best-in-class productivity apps with powerful cloud services, device management, and advanced security in one connected experience. Nova SBE encourages the community to explore the potentiality of these apps.

However, we highlight the following:

Outlook calendar: used for scheduling meetings (online or not) and booking meeting rooms (learn how to book here)

Teams: preferable tool for classes, online meetings, and chat between Nova SBE community members and sharing documents.

Faculty rooms

  • Adjunct faculty pools: rooms B117 and D011 for adjunct faculty teaching mostly on B or D, respectively.
  • Researchers pool: room D011
  • TA pools: rooms D104 and C003
  • Faculty meeting rooms: rooms B116, B119, D119, D127, D128, C005, and C006: can be scheduled on Outlook (check how here) for faculty meetings and to hold office hours. Depending on the school needs, these might be converted to other purposes and, thus, not always be available on outlook.

    *Reading of the room's location: B117 = building B, floor 1, room 17.

Moodle

Moodle

Moodle@NovaSBE is Nova SBE’s Course Management System, the primary place where students find Course’s materials, information and communications from you plus a variety of individual and collaborative activities they will be using throughout the course.

This Platform is also used to make all courses syllabi available for students. It is used to deliver communications and materials to faculty in the “Faculty Area”, where you may find academic calendars and schedules, exam calendars, and information on how you should engage with students when supervising Work Projects in Master’s programs.

This Learning Management System is managed by our Educational Technology team.

They regularly provide open to all beginner and advanced courses on how to use moodle, along with one-on-one personalized sessions as well as online materials and videos that will allow you to become more moodle-proficient.

To book a training session e-mail the Educational Technology team: moddle_support@novasbe.pt or call: 911 806 519.
