The UKAEA Virtual Open evenings continue to be a huge success - have you virtually visited yet?
Join us from the comfort of your own homes as scientists from UKAEA take you on a virtual tour of our amazing facilities.
The virtual events follow the same basic structure as our typical Open Events, but you'll get to see even more than usual! The evening begins with an introduction to fusion and the UKAEA, followed by a virtual tour of the world's largest fusion machine; the Joint European Torus (JET), followed by a tour of one of the three other major facilities we have on site. These include Culham's own fusion experiment MAST Upgrade (Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak Upgrade), our robotics centre RACE (Remote Applications in Challenging Environments), or our Materials Testing Facility (MRF).
In the Zoom breakout rooms, you have the opportunity to ask your guides questions about the tour - or anything else you want to know!

We are still running educational visits for schools and universities - we've gone virtual!
We will be continuing our virtual outreach programme in the future, and encourage anyone that would like a visit for a school, university, or any other interest group to please get in touch to find out how to register for a visit to the hottest place in the solar system.
